| I really appreciate the opportunity I’ve been given to help our high school racquetball players. It’s certainly been beneficial and worthwhile to me. I hope that as the program grows and becomes even more successful that I will be more effective and innovative as an instructor and coach as well. |

Tony Schoepke. I started playing racquetball at age 16 and I’ve never looked back! Marty Hogan was my big sports idol back then. Racquetball has been a great sport for me. It’s fast paced and you can hit the ball really hard! Over the years I’ve won a few tournaments, including 4 NM state titles. Currently, I am one of the racquetball pros at Highpoint Sports & Wellness in Albuquerque. |

Formally the Resident Pro at a leading New Zealand Racquet Sports club and at the National Squash Center in NZ, he has coached up to international level. He is also an Associate Pastor at New Life Church in Albuquerque. A Kiwi (New Zealander) export, Tony is especially keen on water sports and racquet sports. "I have only recently taken up playing racquetball but I love the game and the people. My racquet sports background has helped me adapt quickly. My desire is to be the best I can be, have fun doing it and then help others do the same. That focus used to be just in the sporting field but now extends to all aspects of life. Excellence in sports and sportsmanship can lead to excellence in life – the principles remain the same, only the setting changes." |
