Players participating on the New Mexico High School Racquetball Team are exercising a privilege afforded them in pursuit of Local, State, Regional and National championships. These players must exhibit maturity to be successful in this pursuit. Thus, the following guidelines and rules apply in all activities within the team:

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Players are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manor which in keeping with representing New Mexico High School Racquetball Team and will not bring discredit upon the program.

When traveling with the program, each player is expected to dress appropriately as befits representing New Mexico High School Racquetball Team or as directed by the Coaches.

Respect for property of others, adherence to the rules and guidelines as specified here or by the Coaches and observance of State and Federal laws are required for participation in this program.

 

DISCIPLINE RULES

 

Possession and abuse of use of illegal drugs, alcohol or tobacco shall be cause for immediate dismissal from the team. NOTE: It is your responsibility to avoid situtaitions where prohibited substances are present. You should leave any time prohibited substances are present. You must take total responsibility for your actions. Irresponsible and disrespectful behavior is cause for dismissal from the team. Destruction of property or violation of State and Federal laws is cause for dismissal from the program. Failure to comply with any and all team rules (curfew, attendance, dress code, schedules, etc.) may be cause for disciplinary action. Persistent failure will be cause for dismissal from the team and could affect player's future participation.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

 

I, _______________________________________ will conduct myself in a manner respecting the facilities, other players, referees and the Coaches of the New Mexico High School Racquetball Team while I am participating in the Local, State, Regional and National events. Further, I understand that if I am found to be using or in the possession of drugs or alcohol or in violation of any program's rules and regulations that this shall result in my immediate ejection from the team. I understand and accept the fact that if dismissed from the team or an event while playing, I may be sent home immediately at my parents' expense by whatever means is most convenient for the program administrator. Further, if I am dismissed from the team or event, I understand team or event fees will not be reimbursed.

We, the undersigned, have read, understand and agree to abide by the above guidelines and rules. We also accept action taken for failure to abide by these guidelines and rules.
